Psalm 27 verse 1

Psalm 27 verse 1- The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall i fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Whom shall I be afraid?

Sometimes we forget that the Lord is the way the truth and forget how much he has done in our lives. We can let the world and the people of the world scare us and make us feel worthless and not loved or not good. But we have something that they can never take and something much more amazing that not even we ourselves as followers don't even understand. And that is are Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through him there is no fear for he guided our lives yes sometimes it can be nervous to take giant leaps of faith and even little ones but he will guide us and protect us. Look at me and where the Lord has gotten me. Im here in Uganda in Africa getting to serve with amazing people and help out incredible kids and yes I was shaken out my shoes nervous about going but with the Lord there is no fear and the hoy and love and teaching and gifts he has shown has been incredible. We have nothing to fear with the Lord on our side cause he already fought the battle for us and won.

Application- This week I will write down all the Lord has done for me this year so far.

Matthew 25 verse 35

Matthew 25 verse 35: For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me

In this verse Jesus is talking about how when Him and the angels come they will separate the sheep from the goats the goats being people who didn't accept Christ and the sheep that had accepted and follow Christ and the life he had for them. When Jesus says this he is implying that to every person that they helped feed or give drink and acknowledge and help them they where also helping Jesus. But to those who turned those people down and looked the other way didn't help Jesus and where only helping themselves. When Jesus came to earth he came to serve and help others not be served. Jesus healed sick review dead and gave people the way to everlasting life. We may not be able to do the amazing things that Jesus did but we can help those in need and share the gospel with those around us. For Jesus would go help those lost or in need so we need to be able to do that as well cause when we help others and share with them we also are helping Jesus.

Application- this week I will do my best to be able to help those around me.

Jeremiah 29 verse 11

Jeremiah 29 Vs 11

For I know the plans I have for you “says the Lord” they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

God knows what is going to happen in or lives. For he is all knowing, but if we choose to seek Him and follow him he has already a plan for our lives. I can personally attest for I'm living the life God has for me for he has brought me out to Africa to live in Uganda for a season of my life. The Lords plans for you are so amazing but you just have to accept him and let Him guided your life. God has shown me what he has for my life and even though I don't deserve it he has given me this life to live for him and all I can do is just do what he has asked me to do humbly for His kingdom. There will be tough seasons and really fruitful seasons, but we must always remember that our Lord is always with us and want what is best for us. In those moments we must always remember to remain faithful to Him and keep in our minds that he has the next step planned for us and its for good not disaster.

Application- this week when i do dishes i will do them humbly with no complaint remembering that the Lord has placed me here for good and to grow me.

Deuteronomy 3 verse 22

Deuteronomy 3:22

you shall not fear them it’s the Lord your God who fights for you

We are in Gods hands when we make him the guide of our lives. We shouldn’t worry where we are or where we go or what we do for as long as it’s the Lord that is leading in everything we do he will protect us and get us to where we need to go. God has already fought the battle and won. When he sent his Son Jesus to come die on the cross sin lost and God won. We were set free from death and sin and could gain eternal life with our Father God. God fought this battle for us so we didn't have to. When we go thought a spiritual battle let God take control and give it to him for he will win. Yes the devil is strong but the Lord is much more stronger. In Revelation there is a verse that talks about how God sent an angel down to lock satan away for 1000 years. God Himself could have locked satan away but he chose to send an angel to lock satan. So if an angel could lock away satan imagine just what the Lord could do and yes we can never fully understand God and the power he has but just knowing that and that he is all powerful should really make us feel safe and secure in Him and knowing he fights for us.

Acts 16 verse 31

Acts 16 VS 31: Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your house hold.

We all need to believe in our Lord Jesus for he is the way to the Father and all who know him know the Father. Jesus is waiting for you to come to him and the more you grow closer to him the closer he will grow to you. It took me a until just recently to really understand what that actually means. God is always watching and hearing your prayers. For I had a incredible moment with the Lord for he showed me that he was hearing me and answered me by showing me a shooting star. I once really didn't think stuff like that happened but the more you grow with the Lord the Lord reveals much more then you could ever imagined and we truly need to put our belief in the Lord and one thing that his hard but this verse will come true in my life I Just know that my parents will be saved for to my knowledge right now they our not but if I keep pursuing the Lord he will save my family and answer the prayer that I so desire for my family to see the life God has for them. So I believe and want you to believe as well with all your heart and keep pushing on for his kingdom.

1st Chronicles 28 Verse 9

Solomon, my son learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and willing mind. For the Lord sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever.

Once you have chosen to accept Jesus and follow him it begins this relationship that you must grow by learning more of who Jesus is. Thats why you must be in the word and learn more about Jesus. But we must also follow Jesus and serve him full heartedly. having him guide our lives and be willing to leave behind things or do stuff that we may not like. The Lord has called me to a season of living in Africa yes he has blessed me and grown me so much, but there has been tough times and moments of why am I here. But knowing that the Lord has everything planned for me and only wants to see me grow helps me remember that He has called me here for this time and to remember its in His hands and that we should always be reminded that if we are following the Lord he will guide us in the correct path.
